Our Year-Long Adventure
Around - the - World
Join us as our cultural and culinary adventure around the world begins in June, 29th 2023. We fly, on our first leg via Los Angeles across the Atlantic Ocean, to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. For the second leg, we continue to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Next, using private car with driver, we visit several Malaysian cultural sites enroute to Singapore. Our adventure continues for weeks through Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. We will enjoy the local cuisine with visits to local night food markets and with cooking classes in each country, to experience the local cultures.
We will pause in Bali, Indonesia while flying to New Zealand for a weeks-long, RV trip on each island. We will celebrate the New Year on the island nation of Fiji. Our sojourn ends with almost six months in Australia by RV and a side trip to Timor le Este, before returning home to Colorado. Follow along with us on our Blog.

About Don Henninger
Don Henninger ranks as a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA.) A retired field engineer, Don pursues his photographic passions as an artist, student, competitor, and coach within multiple photographic communities. He has helped other photographers, across the globe, improve their photographic vision and artistry to earn awards as full-time artists. Don has received awards and recognitions for his artistry in architectural, landscape, and food imagery. He was awarded a prestigious Merit Award in PPA’s International Print Competition (IPC) in 2022.
About Jane Henninger
Not-So-Plain Jane, a professional travel agent for fifteen years, established 4 Hemispheres Travel, her own company in 2015. Her vagabond life started as an Army BRAT in post World War 2 Austria and moved on to the United States. Jane has lived in five countries on three continents and in American fourteen states. As a United States Army officer in Germany, she and her husband took every opportunity to expose their children to Europe as locals.
